2 Nephi 25:26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.

Veloma to Me!
Veloma means goodbye in Malagasy and that is exactly what I will be saying to all of you this Sunday the 28th of July at 10:45 AM at the Elwood, UT church house. Everybody is welcome by me and my family to come enjoy a talk I have prepared and then afterwards come to my grandparents house at 5770 W 8000 N Tremonton, UT to enjoy food, to catch up, and enjoy good company! Hope to see you all there before I am gone for two years serving our Dear Lord Jesus Christ in spreading the gospel of truth and hope to the people of Madagascar!
The Lord's Holy Temple
I was able to finally go through the temple and take out my endowments this month and what an amazing experience it was! The Temple of our God is such a sacred and holy place that I am hardly able to describe what an amazing experience it truly was. The peacefulness of the Spirit in the temples is one of the best feelings that one could ever experience in this world we live in. By going to the Temple I was able to strengthen my testimony in so many ways. I know that we are all sons and daughters of God and it is our duty to help each other realize that through missionary work and just by serving our fellow man in other ways! I also learned that I have a specific place in the plan of God as we all do. The temple is so beautiful both physically and spiritually and I absolutely loved it! I know that Christ lives and that his spirit dwells within the holy walls of his many beautiful temples no matter how big, how small, or the placement in the world! I know this church is true and I know that Christ loves us and wants us all to come unto him and become like him to live with our Father in heaven again someday. I encourage all to visit the temple grounds and the temple if at all possible to experience the joy and comfort in knowing that Christ is there.

Missionary Work Preparation!
As I have been living in Arizona with my family for a short while I have been able to have the opportunity of meeting our wards missionaries, Sister Berger and Sister Jensen-Coon! I have been able to go on a couple of lessons with them and have learned so much from doing it! I was able to go to three lessons so far, and a bunch have fallen through along the way, but it has been absolutely FANTASTIC! I love feeling the spirit and I love how it lets me know what to say and what to do to get a point across to the investigator!!!! I am so thankful for this experience to be able to teach and learn while I am teaching with the sisters and they have given me so many tips and I have watched how they teach and they are great and I hope that while I am on my mission soon, that I will be able to be as good as them! It is such an amazing feeling to teach and do the Lord's work and I cannot wait until I get to do it everyday for two years! This last lesson I had today was truly amazing and you could tell that the spirit not only touched us as teachers, but the investigator and she truly is in love with the gospel and I cannot wait for her to be baptized when she decides to! I am so thankful for the spirit and know that it is the true teacher to these people and they can feel it and know it is true! I can't wait for more of this to come :)

Opportunities and Promptings
I just have a couple of amazing stories that have happened to me throughout the past couple months.
Number one: I went down to Taylorsville, Utah for a HOBY meeting and as I was driving back I saw something... the Salt Lake City Temple! I felt this urge telling me to go there and luckily I followed that prompting and went. This was pretty much my first time on the temple grounds and it was amazing! The trees were in bloom and the sun was radiating off of the temple giving it a glow. I walked around and explored a bit, I even went and listened to the beautiful Christus. I continued to glance around both visitors centers and decided I should head home. Just as I was about to leave, however, I saw in the corner of my eye the flag of Madagascar. I whipped around as soon as I had seen the red, white, and green stripes and saw to sister missionaries; one from Tonga and one from Madagascar! I was so excited that I found her and I was able to ask questions and talk with her about Madagascar for quite some time and it was truly an amazing experience and I knew I was supposed to be there for that reason alone.
Number two: I decided not to go to boy's tennis region because I had the HOBY conference where I was volunteering and made the hard decision to go there. While I was there I had a blast talking about missions and other fun stuff... but to my surprise one of the facilitators had gone there on his mission! Not only did he go there though, but he is going to be my MTC teacher!!!!! I could not believe it! What are the odds of this happening, it definitely was not luck! We stayed up late talking about all of the stuff in Madagascar; the food they eat, the culture, funny stories, weird rituals, and so on! I was so astonished that this happened and I am really excited to serve there and am so ready to leave!!!!
Conclusion: You can definitely see that the Lord definitely has his hand in things and I know that these opportunities that I am having are for me to better prepare and learn about Madagascar. I know that following the promptings we get really will bless us greatly and always benefit us in some way or another. I know that Madagascar is where I should be going and I can't wait to preach the true gospel of Jesus Christ and spread his eternal love throughout the land of Madagascar! I am so excited and cannot wait for more opportunities to come.
